What the article fails to mention is the inclusion of either a new baseball stadium to house our local “Las Vegas 51’s” team or an amphitheater in the even the stadium becomes unfeasible. While this downtown concept was always “on the books” and will surely become the predominant developmental study for other master plans and cities, what is undeniable is that once this area becomes home to 10,000 residents, traffic will become a serious issue.
For anyone looking to purchase a home “near” Downtown Summerlin” it’s imperative that you consider the future congestion and traffic that will be associated with such a high density area. All the more reason heading “west” instead of “east” off the 215 will become more desirable.
